Open Doors Day 2017

On March 20, 2017 we participated in the Open Doors Day at the Faculty of Languages. Our team had an honour to welcome very special guests from junior high school in Aleksandrów Kujawski – Kolegium Kujawskie X.X. Salezjanie. The workshop was entitled ”In-Quote Yourself – British and American Literature in Quotes.” Its aim was to familiarise our guests with the most popular British and American literary works and show them what it is like to be a translator. During the meeting, we had an opportunity to discuss examples of correct and incorrect translations and suggest our own ideas and solutions.
